The internet is just a baby and social media is its even younger brother. That means there’s still plenty of reason to get in the social networking game. The real estate industry gets more involved in social media everyday (for good reason…it’s a FREE marketing tool), but for some reason it’s leaving YouTube out of the mix.
According to a recent study, only 12% of real estate professionals use YouTube. Are you kidding me?! Only 12%?! That’s ridiculous, especially when you add the fact that YouTube is the world’s second largest search engine at more than two billion inquiries a day (only Google has more at three billion).
I’m terrible at math, but this equation is simple: YouTube is underutilized by the real estate industry, so there’s plenty of room for YOU to become a trendsetter. This is your chance to “get in early” and take your real estate business to the next level.
As you know, real estate is all about networking. The more people you know…the better off you are. Do you realize how easy it is to make a video introducing yourself to the world? All you need is a camera and your incredible personality. Let people know who you are, what you have to offer, and how you can help them. You’ve suddenly opened yourself up to clients you’ve never met before (and likely wouldn’t have without the video).
If you don’t want to be on camera…you don’t have to be. You can simply create a video buy ambien best delivery slideshow of one of your properties and set it to music. Drop in a few tidbits of information, and you have an open house that can be viewed by anyone at anytime around the globe. It was already extremely simple, but YouTube has made it even easier to make this a reality for you.
Heck, you can even mix both ideas together. Take clients on a walkthrough of a property and then post that video to YouTube. Think of it as being a host of your own television show. People get to know your personality and they get to see what you’re offering. It’s the ultimate sales pitch, and it only takes a few minutes to put together.
The options are endless with YouTube. You can do anything you want! Before any of this can happen though, you have to take the first step and sign up for an account. You can’t lose by getting involved, especially when you have us on your side (click here for more YouTube tips)!
The chances are very good that other real estate professionals in your area aren’t taking advantage of YouTube, so this is a great opportunity to jump ahead of your competition!
